Landtech Geophysics has established a strong research partnership with the School of Earth Sciences at Bristol University UK and is part funding a PhD aiming to investigate and document best practice for microseismic monitoring during shale gas fracking.

Landtech is also a partner company of the Geoenvironmental Research Unit of Cardiff University and the SEREN project. Seren is a European Regional Development Fund (ERDF) research project, aimed at developing innovative engineering technologies for commercial applications within the following geo-energy themes:

  • Underground Coal Gasification
  • Carbon Sequestration in Coal and Soil
  • Geoinformatics: Low Carbon Toolkit
  • Advanced Computational Modelling
